Season 1, Ep. #5. Amandine Schneider - Entrepreneur, mom, doula: it all starts with a journey
Meeting her husband at the supermarket, touring Asia for 16 months together and getting engaged, coming back with a baby plan, falling pregnant while starting her own business: Amandine has a taste for adventure.
During a difficult postpartum period, where returning to work and looking after her baby coexist, Amandine discovers babywearing (which saves her life) and puts together the pieces of the puzzle gleaned from her travels and readings. She feels that she is part of a community of mothers, that she is not alone, and she wants to help other mothers experience their postpartum period in a more serene way by taking care of themselves. But where to start? The COVID lockdown will finally give her the time to explore what will become her new vocation: being a doula.
I will now leave you to discover Amandine's fascinating journey, full of twists and turns, chance encounters, realizations, and above all action.
Nice listening!
